Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 2/3 cup of butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup of mashed bananas
- 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Before you start, set your oven to preheat to 400 degrees F. Now you are going to want to grease your cookie sheets. Now sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda together, and then set this aside.
- Now cream the butter with the sugar until it is all light and fluffy. Now you can beat in the eggs, and add in your vanilla, and then mix in your mashed bananas. Add the flour mixture now, and stir until it is all completely combined. Stir in the chocolate chips here, and drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the cookie sheets you prepared earlier.
- Bake your cookies in the oven you had preheated between 12 and 15 minutes.

This is so unique. Definitely something I may have to try. Thanks for sharing!
400 degrees is too hot I baked 2 batches and they got too browned. Turned down the heat to 375 for the last 2 batches. We will see how it goes. The flavor is good though.
