  • Take out a pitcher that can hold at least 64 ounces, make sure it is heat proof, and sprinkle a pinch of baking soda in the pitcher.
  • Pour the boiling water and tea bags into the same pitcher. Cover the pitcher and allow it to steep for 15 minutes.
  • Now remove your tea bags, and discard them. Pour in the sugar, and stir it well until it's dissolved. Poor the cool water into your pitcher, and refrigerate the tea until cool.
  • Serve cold with ice and lemon as optional.

PRO TIP:  Using baking soda cuts the acidity in the teas.  It’s a secret that most restaurants do.  It helps remove the bitterness while boosting the flavor taste and gives it a smooth taste.  Try it!  You will be amazing!
