Cowboy Nachos Recipe

Boy, Oh Boy have I got an easy Cowboy Nachos recipe for you!  Round up the troops to gather for some hearty Cowboy Nachos!  Wolf Brand Chili makes it easy in this recipe.  This recipe is a throw-it-together fast kinda meal!  You know, those days when life gets ahead of you and you are too busy or too tired to even think about making dinner.

Ingredients Needed for Cowboy Nachos:

• 1 can of Wolf Brand Chili (beans or no beans)
• 1 bag of corn tortilla chips
• Shredded Cheddar Cheese
• Scallions (optional)
• Sour Cream (optional)

Directions for Cowboy Nachos:

Lay out the corn tortilla chips on a baking sheet.  Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over them and bake it just enough to heat the chips and melt the cheese.  This will only take about 5 minutes or so at 350 degrees.  In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chili.  Once the chips are ready transfer them to a serving plate and top with chili, sour cream, scallions and more cheese if you want.  Serve warm.

Our family is a big fan of Wolf Brand Chili!  It’s thick and heartier than every before.  I love how it was thick enough to stay on the nachos without looking like it was soup.  My kids like that is have a good spice to it but not too overwhelming that they can’t eat it.  There are other chili’s they won’t get close too so we stick with our favorite Wolf Brand Chili!
