Easy Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies
Even though we are on Weight Watchers, I have to have my chocolate. What I find to work for me is to keep some chocolate around, but in small portions. That way, I hopefully control myself and don’t over do it. These Easy Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies are the perfect example. I LOVE making cake cookies! They are so easy to do, you can make them in almost any flavor and they take no time to make. I’m sorry to say, I have not figured out the points value on these yet. But I will work on it and update the post at a later time.
Easy Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 box of Devil's food cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
- cooking spray or silicone liners
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 and spray two cookie sheet with cooking spray or line with silicone baking liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs and oil until well blended. I prefer to use a wooden spoon for this recipe and not get out the mixer.
- Stir in all the kinds of the chocolate chips, gently, until well mixed.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cookies just set in the middle. You can also rotate the cookie sheets half-way through the cooking time for even baking.
- Allow cookies to cool for about 5 minutes before moving to wire racks to cool completely.
