  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted organic coconut oil
  • 6 drops orange therapeutic grade essential oil (or essential oil of choice)
  • yellow and orange food coloring

How to Make Homemade Sugar Scrub

  1. In three separate small mixing bowls combine 1/3 cup of granulated sugar with 1 1/3 tablespoons of organic coconut oil and mix well.
  2. Mix in 2 drops of essential oil in each bowl and mix well.
  3. Add one drop (or even a half a drop of you can) of orange food coloring to one bowl and one drop (or a half) of yellow to a second bowl and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Scoop white, then orange and then yellow into a small 8oz Mason jar and use a tablespoon with warm water to scrub for soft, smooth skin.

*use the tiniest bit of food coloring when making so you don’t color your skin when scrubbing 🙂
