Homemade Granola Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup pecan nuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

Prep Time: 10 minutes, Baking Time: 20-25 minutes

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Place melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
  3. Add rolled oats and stir until oats are well coated.
  4. Add crushed pecan nuts, crushed almonds, shredded coconut, flaked coconut and pumpkin seeds. Stir to combine.
  5. Place granola in the prepared baking tray and extend it evenly.
  6. Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes or until granola is golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Store it in a jar with a lid for up to two weeks.
