Lose Fat or Build Muscle?
Lose fat or build muscles? Choose one first and then move on the next after completing the first. This will help you to have a better shot at maintain some slim curves. Generally losing fat is what comes first, followed by building muscles. Here are some of the reasons why.
- Reason 1: Building muscles require a lot of calories, proteins vitamins, nutrients and more. But in order to lose fat, the first step is cutting your carbs and counting your calories. Both are not possible at the same time. Thus when you are trying to build muscles you tend to gain weigh to add to the muscles. Moreover, if you have 15% more fat in your body, it’s a better option to lose it first
- Reason 2: If you are not slim, it means you body muscles are well hidden behind your fat. A good example is the shoulder muscle. The actual shape of this muscle is round. This is formed because of the pull and push movements. But, with fat in the body, they will look flat and have only a slight roundness. You will realize that when you slim out, you already have the muscles and not much exercising is needed to bring it out.
- Reason 3: When you are intent in losing fat, you will have to undergo severe dieting process accompanied by slight exercises. In contrary, when you are building muscles, you will be eating more health and calorie rich food and exercising intensively at the same time. They balance each other and give you the necessary looks.
Thus it is better to concentrate on either losing fat or building muscles followed by the other for effective body maintenance. Set your mind on what you are going to do and follow up till you accomplish the same. I have found some of our green smoothies to really help too.
