My New Kitchen Love:  Samsung Dual Door Electric Range

I can’t even express in words how much I love my brand new Samsung Dual Door Electric Range oven.  Words just cannot describe the love I have for it.  My oven was still useable and nothing was wrong with it.  I’m not the type that just goes out and buys one just because I want a new look either.  The old one must break down before I can justify a new one.  The Best Buy Blogger team offered me a chance to review this product and I jumped at the chance.  Not only that, but I gave me other oven to a friend that could really use it.  Why not, it works right?!

I am in awe of so many of the new features.  Some I had never even considered and others I wanted badly.  We tend to make lots of big meals around here because we have a big family and lots of friends that visit.  It’s pretty normal for me to prepare meals ahead of time just to make sure they are all cooked in the order that has them all ready at the same time.  Desserts such as pies could never be hot because I needed the cooking space for the main meal.

 

Dual Door Feature

This feature is practically life changing!  At first I thought it was because I could cook multiple things at a time but it’s more than just that.  I can cook in less than half of the oven when I just want to pop a frozen pizza in the oven.  You know what this means?  It means less electricity!  It heats up in no time and my kitchen doesn’t get hot like it used to.  Faster pre-heat times and better energy efficiency. Life changing I tell ya!

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving meals to be made either.  I ended up buying one of those three tier racks just to help with the big meal issue.  It helped but only if you plan to make all the meals at the same temperature.  Not anymore!  I have two separate oven temperatures now.  The Divider Accessory-Slides in horizontally, splitting the oven cavity in half. Creates two mini ovens that users can heat and control independent of one another.

Remember how many times you want to open the oven door when baking but can’t because you are afraid to ruin your dessert?  Mom always said don’t open the door or else you lose baking time.  This caused you not to allow multiple goods in your oven.  Well now you have greater flexibility while cooking two things at once-Ability to open the top half without bothering the bottom.  YES!

Electric Burner Features

My new Samsung Dual Door Electric Range cooktop has five burners, including a bridge burner and a burner you can adjust between three different sizes.  Ok, think about that for a minute.  Remember those long pans you use to make more pancakes at the same time?   Remember how the middle of the pan is not hot enough to cook but rather used as a slight warmer?  Well now you will have equal cooking time for all the pancakes at once!  This is where you can take advantage of the warmer drawer at the bottom of the oven!  This is amazing for big families!

There’s also a warmer spot on the top of the range too.

Just like any other range, it also has an over-sized electric burner for those large pans.  But, it also has a control feature that allows you to still use that burner even if you have a small or medium pan as well.  When you turn on the large burner, there are three different settings on the knob.  It’s almost like three separate coils.  Small, medium and large.  You have the ability to just turn on the small center part of the burner or make it as big as whatever pan you plan to use.  Clever, very clever!

Warmer Tray at the Bottom

I already mentioned the warmer tray at the very bottom of the range.  It’s perfect for breads, pancakes etc…  I’ve already gotten much use out of this feature.  The very bottom part in my old oven used to be a storage for extra large cookie sheets.

 

As you can tell I am thoroughly in love with this range oven.  If I would have known it was this good, I may have forked over the cash and bought myself one sooner.

 

Best Buy Customer Service, Set up and Delivery

Now there’s one last thing I find important enough to tell you about.  This amazing range comes from Best Buy.  I am so impressed with the delivery and set up on my range.  These guys scheduled the delivery, confirmed it and came out just as planned.  They have wonderful customer service!  But, I feel they took it a step above.  Not only were they gentle in every aspect of the set up of my range but the guys took the trash, moved my other range to the garage and even took time to show me exactly how this thing works!!!  Talk about customer service!  You just don’t see that anymore now-a-days and that really stuck out to me.  I didn’t even have to read the manual because they showed me.  I can tell they are just as proud of this range as I am to own it.  I just cannot say enough good things about this part.
