Ingredients needed:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups oatmeal (I used the quick oats for this one but I’m sure you could use either)
- wax paper
Here’s how to make the No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies:
- First, combine the sugar, butter, cocoa and milk in a sauce pan.
- Bring those ingredients to a boil for 1 minute. Keep stirring it so it doesn’t burn.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the vanilla, peanut butter and oats to the heated ingredients. (I had these ingredients measured out and waiting in a bowl for this step)
- Mix well.
- Drop spoonfuls on to the wax paper and let them cool and harden.
- Enjoy them after they have cooled!
Tip: I usually let my kids help with baking but these ingredients were way to hot to handle for those little fingers.
