Is pecan pie a Texas thing?
I can’t say for certain, but it might as well be. It is the official state dessert after all. There are a few southern states that have variations of the pecan pie dessert: Georgia (custard pecan pie), Kentucky (fudge pecan pie), and North Carolina (pie with granola topping).
What’s the best holiday dessert??
That’s a tough question. Everyone has their own personal favorite holiday dessert, but some may argue that it’s gingerbread cupcakes or sugar cookie bars. Others would say it’s pumpkin pie or chocolate brownies. There are so many options for desserts this time of year!
How long can you keep leftover pecan pie truffles?
Leftover pecan pie truffles should be eaten within a couple of days but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. You can store them in an airtight container, but they might lose their shape and become a bit messy to eat. If you’re looking to keep your leftover pecan pie truffles for longer than two weeks, it’s best to freeze them. They’ll stay fresh in the freezer for up to a month.
What do you eat pecan pie truffles with?
You can enjoy these delicious little balls of heaven by themselves, or eat them along with some vanilla ice cream! You could also add them into your milkshake for an extra sweet treat that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Recipe Notes
This is hands down one of the best recipes I’ve tried yet. You can taste the creaminess of the cashew butter but at the same time, pecans provide a crunchy bite. Naturally sweetened using fresh dates. Seriously these truffles are the perfect healthy dessert.
