Snowflake Chocolate Covered Oreos

It’s that time of year again! The holidays are just around the corner and that means it’s time to start thinking about what treats you’ll be serving your guests. These easy-to-make cookies are sure to please everyone on your list.
I love Christmas time! The lights, the decorations, the food… It’s all so magical. But what I really love most about this time of year are the cookies. There’s nothing better than a big plate of cookies, and these Chocolate Covered Snowflake Oreos are some of my favorites.
These cookies are so simple to make and only require a few ingredients. Plus, they’re really pretty too! I like to use white chocolate for the coating, but you could also use milk or dark chocolate. Whatever you prefer!

Snowflake Chocolate Covered Oreos
Ingredients
- Mint Oreos
- Wilton light blue candy melts
- Wilton candy snowflake icing decorations
- Wilton white candy nonpareil sprinkles
Instructions
1. Empty your bag of light blue candy melts into a small microwave safe bowl and heat on 50% power for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted (add in a 1/2 teaspoon Crisco if your chocolate is too thick).
2. Dunk one Oreo into the melted chocolate at a time, remove with a fork or a the Wilton slotted decorating spoon and let any excess chocolate drop off.
3. Set your chocolate covered cookies onto a piece of parchment paper.
4. Place a snowflake candy onto the center of each chocolate covered Oreo and top with sprinkles.
5. Let your chocolate harden for about 30 minutes and enjoy.
