Spinach Pakoras

Ingredients

cup
besan/gram flour
1
medium chopped onion
1
cup
chopped spinach or palak
1
tsp
chopped ginger
1
chopped green chili
1
tsp
fennel seed powder
1/2
tsp
red chili powder
1
tsp
coriander powder
a pinch of asafoetida/hing
2
tbsp
sesame seeds
1/2-1
cup
water
salt for taste
oil for frying
Instructions
Mix the ingredients together into a semi think batter. This batter should not be thin, but more like idli bater.
Take spoonfuls of the pakora, and fry them in hot oil until they are a golden brown in color.
Once fried, these Spinach Pakoras can be served with tomato sauce, chutney, and bread slices.
